Wasiu Adeyemi Jimoh is a Professor in the Department of Aquaculture and Fisheries at the University of Ilorin. With over fifteen years of experience in teaching, research, and administration, he previously worked at Crescent University Abeokuta and the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology in Ibadan. Currently serving as the Head of the Department,

Prof. Jimoh was a 2017 Post-Doctoral Fellow of The World Academy of Science (TWAS) on Aquaculture Nutrition at Universiti Putra Malaysia. He has over a hundred publications in reputable outlets, including journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters. His primary research focuses on Aquaculture, Fish Nutrition, Fish Products Development, and Utilization.

He has attended more than 15 workshops, local and international conferences, seminars, and training programs. He has also supervised numerous students within the Department and is a member of the Fisheries Society of Nigeria (FISON) and Agricultural Society of Nigeria (ASN).
